Dr Adam Rapaport has been practicing for more than 45 years. He completed his studies at the University of Sydney in 1971 and has since enjoyed a varied medical career. He spent three years working in the USA, also holding a positiona as Professor of Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has been practicing at Primary Health Care centres for over 20 years, has been a surgical consultant to the Australian Defence Force and has held the position of VMD Surgery at Marickville and Royal South Sydney Hosptial.
Adam's areas of special interest include hernia repair, skin cancer (Melenoma), laparoscopic surgery, vascular surgery and trauma surgery.
He has a keen interest in linguistics and history, being currently enrolled at Sydney University to complete a Bachelor of Arts in those subjects. In his spare time, Adam enjoys travelling and playing Bridge and Texas Hole-em Poker, he also enjoys the Opera and good food.
